Munzón Gallery is excited to announce "LA to LB," a group exhibition featuring prints from the members of the Los Angeles Printmaking Society (LAPS). The exhibition showcases a diverse array of prints representing a wide range of printmaking techniques. The opening reception will take place on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 5-8 pm. The exhibition will be on view through August 10, 2024.

The Los Angeles Printmaking Society (LAPS) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to promoting printmaking, supporting artists who create prints, and advancing public awareness and education about printmaking. Founded in 1962 by artists Connor Everts and Paul Darrow, LAPS has a long and illustrious history within the Los Angeles arts community. The society continues to foster dialogue among artists, encouraging the appreciation of printmaking in contemporary art and representing national and international printmaking artists.

"LA to LB" underscores LAPS's mission by bringing together a dynamic mix of prints that highlight the versatility and innovation inherent in printmaking. The artists employ a wide range of printmaking techniques, from traditional methods like etching and lithography to modern approaches such as mixed media. This diversity in technique is matched by the varied cultural and artistic backgrounds of the artists, enriching the exhibition with a broad spectrum of perspectives and narratives.
