Elizabeth Munzón

Elizabeth Munzón (b.1990) is a Mexican-American oil painter. Her paintings explore and depict narratives influenced by Mexican pre-hispanic mythologies and folklore. Munzón was born in the San Fernando Valley and raised in Sylmar, a suburb of Los Angeles. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) with an emphasis in Figurative Painting and Drawing and a minor in Marketing from California State University, Long Beach. Munzón's work has been exhibited at the Long Beach Museum of Art, Torrance Art Museum, Brea Gallery, Bergamot station among others.
