About the event
Protest Posters with Linocut & Wheat-paste
Join us for an engaging wheat pasting workshop led by Cesar Garcia, a printmaker from the Inland Empire and co-creator of Grafica Nocturna, a collective dedicated to promoting traditional printmaking techniques in the region.
In this hands-on workshop you’ll learn how to create bold, socially-engaged posters using printmaking techniques. Participants will design a poster with a socio-political theme, carve and print using lino or foam sheets, and learn how to mix wheatpaste to post their work in public spaces.
In today’s urgent social and political climate, printmaking remains a powerful, visible tool of protest—portable, repeatable, and made to raise our voices.
Come make your mark!
